Return to the Black Seamless

Yesterday I decided to blow the dust off my home studio equipment and photographed my first indoor portrait session in months. Friend and closet model, Jamie Hicks, was so wonderful to volunteer. It was a fun, quick shoot. I wanted the theme to be dark and sullen, yet elegant and sultry. I got a chance to test out my Ulta makeup kit as well as to find a creative use for the flowers my mother picked just days before. As much as I enjoy these indoor shoots, I am getting anxious for the weather to turn so that I can get back outdoors and do more environmental portraits!
